Frequently Asked Questions
Our new, expanded, full-service academic center at Campus Corner in Norman, Oklahoma! Our physical address is 730 Asp Avenue, Suite 105. Our center is street level, right next door to the good old Deli.
COVID-19 Update: Per Norman City Ordinance, we require masks in our offices. If you feel more comfortable meeting remotely, we are equipped for online sessions with integrated technology whereby we can broadcast notes we are taking in real time while simultaneously keeping all “faces on the screen”– you can be anywhere in the world and still do math with us.
It’s easy! Either call (405) 401-0097, or send an email to Katie@tutorpug.com, or go to our “Contact Us” page and fill out the short form. We will get to know you and your circumstances so we can get you with the best tutor for your needs. A short information form later, and you’re ready to start scheduling.
That depends on if you are in middle school, high school, or college, and which class or subject you need help in. You will be with one of our team members, whom you can meet on our “Meet the Pack” page.
All of our tutors have been trained extensively by TutorPUG staff on our best-practices for private tutoring, which includes an assessment of concept knowledge using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Each member of the team has been tutoring for 2+ years, minimum, and Katie Kimberling has been tutoring privately as her full-time job for more than 15 years.
Any ACT tutor has scored at least a 32 on the ACT, and some even higher.
Our MCAT tutor, Shelby, scored at the 98th percentile on the MCAT herself, earning perfect scores on both the biology and chemistry sections.
Tutors either have or are currently earning a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree
Our automated and integrated scheduling and payment system allows clients to pay by Venmo, cash, or credit/debit card at each monthly billing cycle.
We have a neat-o scheduling system that sends reminder texts for your appointment so you don’t ever have to worry about missing out on some math! (Unless you lose your phone, of course. We can’t help you with that.)
